Albuquerque Six Drive-In

Location:  Pan American Fwy (frontage road to I-25), on W just S of Jefferson
Open:  197?-1996(?)
Capacity:  Unknown

The Albuquerque Six was a later-period drive-in, built sometime in the late 1970s and replaced by a twenty-four screen hardtop (the Century Rio 24) in 1997.

Can't say much positive about this one. The last time I went was for a double-feature of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and White Men Can't Jump. They ran the reels out of order on the supporting picture and were projecting things so damned dark you couldn't tell Woody Harrelson from Wesley Snipes. Of course, that was probably just Century "prepping" the site for their forthcoming megaplex...
