[Recorded for producer Andy Sojka's Elite label. L42 left Sojka's
label for Polydor before this album was completed and Sojka finished
work on his own. After L42 released their Polydor debut, Sojka pressed
six copies of the album he had produced for the band, calling the
album Strategy. After some negotiations, Sojka sold Strategy to Polydor
(reportedly for 10,000 UKP) and Polydor released it as The Early Tapes.]
