I Think We've Figured Out How To Replace Paul Morley Dept. - Google Say...

  • Lazlo is a 1m75 tall man with honey-blond hair falling on his shoulders when not combed in a very 17th Century fashion.
  • Lazlo is an inspiration to all — even our four footed friends.
  • Lazlo is founder and president of the Club of Budapest, an association dedicated to "developing a new way of thinking."
  • Lazlo is attempting to use the system against itself.
  • Lazlo is a Resistance leader, and with Germans on his tail, Ilsa knows Rick can help them get out of the country - but will he?
  • Lazlo is quite simple to use on a Macintosh.
  • Lazlo is the evil crime boss figure trying to organise the werewolf population into his army, whilst Jake is out to twart his plans with the aid of his crackpot friend who believes himself to be a werewolf, but really isn't.
  • Lazlo is not really engaging in conversation with the letter writers.
  • Lazlo is quiet.

157 hrs, 31 min And Nothing's On Dept. - Bwa-haaa!! Operation TiVo+100Gb is complete.

TiVo Capacity 29-Jul-02

Nos. 1-100 With A Bullet Dept. - British retro-TV site TV Cream have compiled the most accurate 100 Best Singles Ever list in the history of recorded music. Associates, Propaganda and WAH! all in the top ten? Validation at last!

Mild or Caliente? Dept. - Stories like this make me really miss Sadie's. Frozen green chile from the 'rents is much appreciated but it's just not the same. All I want is one Bay Area restaurant that makes real honest-to-god New Mexican food.

Underachievers And Proud Of It Dept. - For those of you still using Michael Wittman's BART Scheduler for Palm OS (a leaner and meaner predecessor to the trip planner BART gives out on their site), I've generated an application database that reflects today's schedule changes. I'm not sure if Michael supports the code any more, but since the program is open source it was relatively easy to generate a new dataset in the format it likes. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for the "official" app to catch up.
